NorthStar IndexBase operates this website. This page explains what information we handle when you browse, sign in, buy research, or contact us.

Information you share

If you use the inquiry form, your browser opens your email app with your name, email address, and message filled in. You decide whether to send it. We receive the information only when you send the email. We use it to respond, discuss your request, and provide services you agree to purchase.

Accounts and purchases

Sign-in is handled through ChatGPT. We receive an account identifier and email address to recognize your account and link purchased research to it. Stripe handles checkout and card details. We store the Stripe checkout reference, item purchased, amount, and payment status so we can grant access. We do not receive or store your full card number.

Site operation and analytics

Our hosting and security providers may process technical information such as IP address, browser details, requested pages, and request times to deliver and protect the site and report traffic. We use Cloudflare for DNS, delivery, security, and aggregate traffic analytics. We do not put an advertising tracker on this site.

Cookies and local storage

The site can save one local storage choice in your browser when you dismiss the privacy notice. If you choose “Continue without saving,” it saves no choice. Cloudflare may set cookies for security or bot protection. You can clear site storage and cookies using your browser settings.

Sharing and retention

We use service providers, including Cloudflare, ChatGPT sign-in, Stripe, and our email provider, to operate the site, process payments, and handle messages. We may share information if required by law. We do not sell inquiry details. We keep correspondence and purchase records for as long as reasonably needed to provide access, handle requests, and meet applicable obligations.
